Samcount App

We supply the Unitech EA-500PLUS with the Samcount for Samtouch Office app installed.  You will require a subscription to Samtouch Office with the additional Stock Control module and a Samcount licence for each device the app is to be used on. The total cost based on 1 Sam4s EPOS terminal and 1 Samcount licence is £32.45 + VAT per month.  If you have additional EPOS terminals, the price will increase by £5 + VAT per month per terminal.  Additional licences for Samcount are £7.50 + VAT per month per device.

The app significantly reduces the time taken to perform stock-takes.  You simply point the unit at a product's barcode label, click one of the buttons and then enter the stock quantity counted.  This is reported back to the clouded Samtouch Office software which can be accessed on any device with an internet browser.

The Samcount app also allows you to carry out spot checks on any product, including pricing which can be changed there and then using the app rather than waiting until you access Samtouch Office or the EPOS terminal.

The Samcount app is available to download for Android™ smartphones.  You can use the camera on the smartphone to scan barcodes although, in our experience, the Unitech EA-500PLUS device is far easier to use as it recognises barcodes much more efficiently.  You can also use it as a single dedicated device rather than investing in multiple licences for every staff member's smartphone.
