Buckland Deli & Gifts (Betchworth RH3 7BB, June 2023)
OrderMe mobile ordering app

Last year we had the pleasure of installing a Samtouch EPOS System in Buckland Deli & Gifts.  

In an addition to their system, their fresh sandwiches can now also be ordered using the mobile app OrderMe. Customers can download the app to their mobile for free and order a selection of sandwiches and drinks for collection, saving them the time of having to wait for their order to be prepared, especially during the busy times of the day. We've captured some screen shots of the app below.

All orders from the EPOS terminal and OrderMe are sent directly to a screen in the preparation area using Samtouch Kitchen.

Bacchus Nightclub (Kingston KT1 1RP, November 2022)

Bacchus is a trendy nightclub in Kingston that recently upgraded their faithful but ageing Casio touch screens to a our latest Samtouch EPOS system.  They now have remote access to the all of their sales reports using Samtouch Office.

This quaint village shop is the home of Buckland Deli & Gifts.  They also supply freshly made sandwiches which can be rung up on the EPOS terminal and then sent to a screen in the preparation area using Samtouch Kitchen.

When asked about our services, the new owner Amy said 'Very professional and straight forward installation'.

A charming cafe in the heart of Charlwood village was the setting for this installation.  52 The Street were using their trusty Sam4s ER-390M cash register but wanted VAT reporting with eat-in and takeaway, the ability to transfer item sales reports to the pc and integrate their credit card machine.  They were also looking to invest in their EPOS for the future and after demonstrating some of the capabilities of the Sam4s Titan S360 with Samtouch, it was apparent that the system itself would aid in the overall efficient running of the cafe.  They are now enjoying the benefit of having orders printed for the kitchen and table bills stored on the EPOS terminal.  This is in addition to having their card payment terminals (provided by Dojo) integrated into the EPOS system inceasing speed and accurancy. Prince Of Wales, part of The Black Dog Pub Company, upgraded their Casio system to our latest Samtouch EPOS system with Samtouch Office. This enabled faster service with Integrated Card Machines and more flexibility with access to back office features such as Time & Attendance monitoring.

De Nada Tapas upgraded their Casio system to our latest Samtouch EPOS system.  In additon to a desktop terminal, they have 2 rugged Hisense HM628 Tablets which mirror the desktop application and allow the operators to seamlessly take the system anywhere that is required, for example to the tables or front of house.

New Leaf Cafe (Reigate RH2 8BB, May 2022)

New Leaf Reigate is a zero waste shop.  It is a shining example of how we can all be more environmentally friendly.  There are no single use plastics and customers can reuse their own containers when purchasing products.  They sell a vast range of fresh food and produce, herbs, spices, dried food, cereals, baking ingredients, frozen food, cleaning products and much more. In May 2022 they also opened a cafe to compliment the shop.  You'll notice from the photo that they have a 9.7" rear customer display which can display adverts and notices as well as details of customer transactions.  They also use Orderpad for Samtouch for taking orders at the table.

Merstham Mix Cafe (Redhill RH1 3HX, Apr 2022)

We were delighted to be asked to install a specially designed Sam4s Titan S360 system in the new Merstham Mix cafe.  The Merstham Mix is a Community Interest Company (CIC). They take food destined for waste to create a circular model for excess, quality local food produce. Their mission is to create a cafe in the heart of the community where everyone who walks through the door feels welcome.

The cafe is operated by staff and volunteers so, as we often tend to, we programmed the terminal to be as easy to use as possible for the operators bearing in mind that they may not have had any experience with EPOS equipment.

Quality Superstore (Aldershot GU11 1BG, Apr 2022)

While looking professional, having the scales and card terminals linked also reduces the risk of operator error as amounts do not have to be retyped into a different piece of equipment.

They are also uitilising the clouded Samtouch Office to monitor and control their stock with the help of a rugged Unitech EA-500Plus tablet with built-in scanner to assist with counting the stock.  It has the added advantage that immediate price changes can also be made using the device as you walk around the store.

ADA Market (Maidstone ME16 8JN, Apr 2022)

This installation was for ADA Market, a new supermarket specialising in European food and drink. Similar to the Turner's Garage installation, ADA Market also have a Sam4s Titan S360 terminal with a scanner to register barcoded items. This scanner sits in its stand but can be removed and used by hand. 

The photos are prior to their opening day. When we checked in with the owner, Alfred, a month later to see how things were going, he thanked us and remarked that he was "very happy with our service".

Turners Garage (Pulborough RH20 1NP, Apr 2022)

Turners Garage in Pulborough had a single Sam4s Titan S360 terminal with a scanner in their forecourt shop. They also have an integrated card terminal, supplied by Paymentsense, allowing them to accept customer's card payments by seamlessly transferring the balance directly from the till to the card machine.

You may notice that there is a customer display on the back of the EPOS terminal.  This 2-line version dislays products as they are scanned along with their prices and shows the total of the transaction at the end.  Especially helpful for the hard of hearing.

The oldest pub on London's River Thames had an upgrade to their system which included being able to control their promotional vouchers using Samtouch Office.  They can now also alter menus, take reports and view employee's time and attendance remotely.

Due to its popularity, to cope with the high customer footfall, we returned a couple of times to The Swimmer to add more terminals to the system.  They now have 3 terminals including one that is mounted on a vesa bracket on the wall to save space, as seen in the photo.

This was a slightly larger installation at the beautiful Victorian public house, The Royal Inn On The Park.  They also have the clouded Samtouch Office which enables them to make menu changes (scheduling them if required) and access sales reports remotely.
