iMin Lark1 Mobile Computer PDA
The iMin Lark2 is a new rugged but light 6.5" mobile computer PDA, weighing only 280g, which uses the Android™ operating system. It has an integrated scanner with an optional trigger handle for the fast and efficient scanning of product barcodes from distances of up to 2ft (60cm). This device is supplied for use with the Samcount for Samtouch app to assist with stocktakes.
The iMin Lark2 has an IP68 rating having been drop tested from 1.5m. There is an optional handstrap and case for added protection.

Software
We supply the iMin Lark1 with the Samcount for Samtouch Office app installed. You will require a subscription to Samtouch Office or eZeePos Office with the additional Stock Control module and a Samcount licence for each device the app is to be used on.
Licences for the Samcount app are £7.50 + VAT per month per device.
The app significantly reduces the time taken to perform stock-takes. You simply point the unit at a product's barcode label, click one of the buttons and then enter the stock quantity counted. This is reported back to the clouded Samtouch Office software which can be accessed on any device with an internet browser.
The Samcount app also allows you to carry out spot checks on any product, including pricing which can be changed there and then using the app rather than waiting until you access Samtouch Office or the EPOS terminal.
The Samcount app is available to download for Android™ smartphones. You can use the camera on the smartphone to scan barcodes although, in our experience, the iMin Lark1 device is far easier to use as it recognises barcodes much more efficiently. You can also use it as a single dedicated device rather than investing in multiple licences for every staff member's smartphone.
